 About the "Light Dance Company"

The national ensemble of modern dancing Light Dance Company has originated from the modern choreography School of Rivne City Children and Youth Palace which has existed for already 15 years. Natalia Storozhuk, the stage manger is the ballet-master and the leader of the Modern Choreography School as well as a Model Educator of Ukraine. The first professional dancing company of Western Ukraine works in the trend or modern choreographic art and consists of 15 talented performers (8 girls and 7 boys) who are the first alumni of MCS RCCYP.

The Light Dance Company repertoire includes more than 50 original ballet-mastered performances staged by Natalia Storozhuk, Olena Dodchuk, Olena Korotiejeva, as well as masterpieces of the world choreography art leaders such as Michelle Dorrance, David Pullins Derrel Bullck, Claudio Raargianoto, Wayne McGregor Geraldina Armstrong and others. Concert items of the Light Dance Company have been created in various trends of modern choreographic art: jazz-modern, afrojazz, blues-jazz, fank-jazz, contemporary modern dance, street jazz, acrobatic of dance, tap-dance. The Light Dance Company presented its touring concert performances all over Ukraine (Kyiv, Chernivtsi , Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv, Ternopil, Kharkiv, Skadovsk, Uzhgorod), Lithuanian Republic (Vilnius, Klaipeda, Palanga, Taurage), Poland (Cracow), Slovakia ( Koshytse), Hungary ( Myshkolts), Turkey (Antalya),Russia ( Moscow, St. Petersburg Krasnoarmejsk).
