Ballet-masters Natalia Storozhuk
Lead Stage Manager of the Light Dance Company -a modern dance ensemble.
Natalia Storozhuk has been working as a lead stage-manager of Modern Choreography School and a teacher of jazz-modern and tapdance since 1994. She is a highly experienced specialist who has a good command of non traditional forms and methods of pedagogical activity, she is a highly competent and creative person, who aspires to achieve high results of her activity.
Being a good organizer, Natalia Storozhuk is able to quickly respond the innovations in educational process, take responsible decisions, considering progressive ideas of pedagogical and psychological science as well as the creative opportunities of the Light Dance Company, headed by her.
In 1990 she left Luhansk State Musical College (the theory of music); and in 1996 she graduated from Rivne State Institute of Culture ( choreography sub faculty) N. Storozhuk tirelessly and constantly improves both her qualification and professional skills. Along with working at the Light Dance Company Natalia Storozhuk externally left the Vortex International School of modern Choreography (in Moscow) in 2002. On her own initiative she took training at master closes conducted by : Geraldina Armstrong (England, 2002); David Pullins (USA,2005); Rick Odums (USA, 2003); Sara Petronio (2004); Vortex Winter School (2005); Geraldina Armstrong (England, France); Denis Boroditsky (Russia- USA); Svitlana Medviedieva (Russia); Juan Carlos (Spain); Rick Odums (USA); and David Pullins (Usa, 2006); Vasyl Mishletsov Russia- USA); Michelle Dorrance (USA);David Pullins (USA); N. Storozhuk has been a sevenfold participant of the International Educational Programme "Jazz Congress Vortex" (Russia, France, Spain, England, USA).
Being a trainee of these international master classes N. Storozhuk has mastered such techniques of modern choreography art as: classic-jazz, jazz- modern, blues-jazz, fank-jazz, modern, contemporary, street-jazz, hip -hop and tap dance.
With her own example does Natalia Hennadiivna show the Light Dance Company stuff that the way to success is stipulated by industriousness, belief in one's own possibilities and endless love to the art of choreography. N. Storozhuk is a bright example of a creative pedagogue, who accepts a dancer not the way he is, but the way he can become, as long as his abilities develop in favorable conditions. She possesses a professional intuition, which enables her to see each child's gifts and talents. Applying the most of her efforts, she helps a child develop and increase his talent. N. Storozhuk aims to give her pupils all her knowledge and experience, knowing individual peculiarities and finding approach to every child. When working, she's demanding both to herself and others; she constantly aspires to success and teaches every child professional attitude towards his duties as well as determination in completing his goods.
Natalia Hennadiivna is loved and highly appreciated by her colleagues and pupils. By nature she is a fully reliable person who can be trusted. She is the one who is always ready to give advice and help. Natalia Hennadiivna generates ideas which are creatively embodied in her stage productions. These numbers about 50 original dancing performances in the Light Dance Company repertoire: solo items and duets, dances of subject and mass non-subject dances - thematically interesting, unique and tasteful. They are characterized with high technique of performance skills, acting skills and artistic taste.
For her high professional results and achievement's Natalia Storozhuk has been awarded with "Certificate of Honour" given by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine (2000), "Certificate of Honour" by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine (2003). In 2003 she received the title of "Model Educator of Ukraine" as well as the Rivne mayor grant in 2004.
When one starts talking about the Light Dance Company the first name that comes across one's mind is Natalia Storozhuk!
